The Coalition for Responsible Energy Development in New Brunswick (CRED-NB) is fighting for a renewable energy future without fossil fuels or nuclear energy on our electricity grid.
The public utility NB Power wants to build a gas and diesel power plant in the Chignecto Isthmus in Tantramar. Fossil fuels are fueling the climate crisis, and climate scientists urge us to not build new fossil fuel infrastructure like gas plants. CRED-NB, a member of the Protect the Chignecto Isthmus Coalition, shares information about the fight to stop this reckless project.
