Invitation to hold public consultations in New Brunswick on national radioactive waste policy

CRED-NB sent a letter today to the federal Minister of Natural Resources, Seamus O’Regan, inviting him to hold public consultations in New Brunswick on his new national radioactive waste policy. You can read the letter here.

Solar Energy in New Brunswick: new video

Webinar: Roundtable on solar energy in New Brunswick

The Coalition for Responsible Energy Development in New Brunswick hosted a webinar today organized by MJM Solar Solutions.

We gathered solar experts and leaders from New Brunswick to discuss how we can work together to increase NB’s Green Energy. The webinar participants discussed solar installations, job creation, community engagement, technical and real world applications of solar in NB, training, and policy.

NB Power’s renewable energy claims disputed

RAVEN’s environmental action reporter Cortney MacDonnell published a story today featuring a report by MGM Solar Solutions. The report states that NB Power claims to be supplying New Brunswick with over 40 percent renewable energy but a local solar firm says that is not the case. You can read the article here.
