Wolastoqey Nation claims title to land with key NB Power facilities

On November 30, the Wolastoqey Nation claimed title to parcels of land that includes the key NB Power facilities of the Point Lepreau Nuclear Generating Station and the Mactaquac Dam. Read the story HERE in the NB Media Co-op.

The case will take more than a decade to wind its way through the courts although the Wolastoqey say they prefer a negotiated settlement.
